MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Bucks fourth City Edition uniforms went on sale Thursday, December 3.
"As soon as they opened, I got my jersey," Bucks fan Josh Carter said. "I love it, I've been waiting on the blue version."
Here they are! The new @Bucks City Edition jerseys are now for sale! The blue represents the three rivers running through Milwaukee and Lake Michigan. A few fans have already made their way into the @BucksProShop to grab one. More today on @CBS58 pic.twitter.com/5gMntpfLxu— Emily Thornton (@EmilyThorntonTV) December 3, 2020
The jerseys feature the team’s Great Lakes Blue color and represent the three rivers running through Milwaukee and Lake Michigan.
"People have been clamoring for the blue since we teased it years ago," Bucks Chief Marketing Officer Dustin Godsey said.
Godsey explained the City Edition jerseys give the organization a chance to tell a story.
"This year the theme is gathering place, which is a play off the original meaning of Milwaukee, gathering place by the water," he said. "Really how not only Milwaukee was founded as this gathering place, but the Bucks role in being that sort of, at this point, virtual gathering place for the city."
Godsey said once the rest of the team’s schedule is released, they’ll have a better idea of when fans can expect to see players wearing the jerseys on the court.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Bucks go blue! On Tuesday, Dec. 1, the Milwaukee Bucks unveiled their 2020-21 City Edition uniform, which for the first time features the team's Great Lakes Blue color.
Inspired by Milwaukee's meaning as "the gathering place by the water," a news release from the team says the uniforms include Great Lakes Blue, which is incorporated into the Bucks' color palette in 2015, the uniform features three unique shades of blue that represent the three rivers that run through Milwaukee, as well as the depths of Lake Michigan.
The uniform symbolizes both Milwaukee’s and the Bucks’ role in bringing people together, which is noted by the phrase “Gathering Place” on the bottom of the jersey.
The news release says the numbers on the jersey are treated with a special coating that will reflect the light in a way that gives the illusion that the numbers themselves are wet. The center of the shorts also features the water outlines from the Bucks’ state logo, showcasing the major bodies of water that bring Wisconsin together.
