The Fish Are Biting...32nd Annual Free Spring Fishing Clinics for Kids

Fishing is one of those simple sports.  You just need a rod, reel, and a little patience. This weekend, kids, 15 years and younger, can learn everything there is to know about catching the big one.

The clinics will be held at 16 different areas parks, including 11 in Milwaukee County alone.  They are taught by members of local fishing clubs. Safety, identification, and proper equipment use are all part of the event, even fish cleaning.  

CBS58's Michael Schlesinger had the chance to reel in one of his own at Greenfield Park.  And your kids can too.  It goes from 9am to 3pm on Saturday.  Fishing equipment is available, but it's recommended to bring your own rod and reel if possible.  No pre-registration is necessary, but to accommodate groups of 20 or more, call 414-303-0109.  You can also click on the attached link for more information.
