The Cold Sticks Around...Valentine's Weekend Snow Chances

The cold continues for tonight as the sky clears out.  Overnight lows will plummet into the single digits with wind chills by morning close to 10 below!  Our normal low is 18, so we will be 15 degrees below average by Thursday morning. The pattern just won't allow us to warm up.

Take a look at the picture above.  There is significant warmth to our west tonight; however, that warm front won't make it to Wisconsin, as another shot of arctic air arrives late Friday into Saturday.

A chilly Valentine's weekend will occur with highs in the teens on Saturday and some snow showers for Sunday.  That arctic air will arrive late Friday night and drop our low Saturday morning to 0!

In addition to the cold, light snow showers are forecast by Sunday afternoon into the evening.  Right now there's a chance for a quick inch of snow, and we will continue to watch this for you as the week goes along.
