Telemundo Wisconsin to give away 500 backpacks with school supplies at UMOS Back to School Fair Saturday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Telemundo Wisconsin will be giving away 500 backpacks filled with school supplies at the UMOS Back to School Fair this Saturday, August 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the UMOS headquarters on Milwaukee’s south side.

The backpack giveaway will start at 10:30 a.m.

All interested families should line up with their tickets prior to the start of the giveaway.

Telemundo Wisconsin announced this event is free for all families.

Organizers say there will be 21 booths with informational resources, free school supplies, free haircuts for children, live performances, face painting, celebrity sports mascots appearances and more.

Additionally, table vendors will wear masks and UMOS will provide 2,400 small masks for children attending the event.
