Teens Flee Police in Stolen Car Before Crashing Near N. Teutonia Ave and W. Sheridan Ave.

Three teens are in custody and a gun has been recovered after police pursued a stolen car that would not stop.

At 6:58 on Friday evening, Brown Deer Police responded to reports of multiple subjects sitting inside a car waving a gun around at Fairy Chasm Park. Brown Deer Police officers approached the vehicle, but it fled southbound on North 60th Street.

Officers began a pursuit of the vehicle, learning that it was also stolen from the City of Milwaukee.

The police pursuit continued into the City of Milwaukee, before the 2002 Dodge Stratus crashed near the intersection of North Teutonia Ave. and W. Sheridan Ave. Three suspects were taken into custody, a gun was recovered but three other suspects fled the scene.

The three suspects are ages 17, 16 and 16 and are all from Milwaukee. One of those suspects had a warrant and one is on probation. All three suspects face additional charges including: Fleeing, Carry Concealed Weapon and Operate Motor Vehicle Without Owner's Consent for this incident.

Milwaukee Police Department, Glendale Police Department and the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office assisted Brown Deer with this situation. The incident remains under investigation.
