Teen shot during argument near 5th and Burleigh

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating a non-fatal shooting that left a 17-year-old injured.

It happened around 9 p.m. on Saturday near 5th and Burleigh.

According to police, there was an argument between the victim and suspect outside of a home. 

The victim was seriously injured in the shooting and taken to a local hospital by a family member.

Police say the suspect is known to them and they are currently looking for him.

The investigation remains ongoing.
