Teachers in Racine Unified School District raise concerns over salary

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Teachers in the Racine Unified School District are sending a message to district leaders.
They want to keep their salary structure as is.
"Teachers are working harder, they're working more hours, they're doing more things, and we are asking to maintain our salary schedule," said Valerie Morey, Vice President of Racine Educators United.
Right now, teachers with more experience and a higher level of education make more than teachers with less experience.
Teachers are concerned they will lose those benefits.
