Tanaka, Yankees beat Brewers on star-studded night at Miller Park

MILWAUKEE - The Brewers-Yankees series opener at Miller Park nearly had a postseason feel, from extra media interviewing C.C. Sabathia and Derek Jeter to the Badgers basketball team throwing out the collective first pitch.

Once the game started, though, it was the Yankees stealing the show by roughing up Yovani Gallardo for four earned runs in a 5-3 win.

Mark Reynolds homered in the ninth inning for the Brewers, who have lost three straight games for the first time all season.
