Take a trip down Candy Cane Lane in West Allis

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) --- The Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc. (MACC) Fund is celebrating its 35th year of making a difference in the life of a child with cancer. Candy Cane Lane opens Friday, Nov. 27 in West Allis.

It will take place near Oklahoma and Montana Avenues, as well as 92nd and 96th Street. The streets will be transformed into a winter wonderland to benefit the fund.

The holidays lights will be aglow from Nov. 27 through Dec. 27 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays, and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.

The event is free, but donations are encouraged. Donations gift hope and life for children with cancer, according to officials. The official collection site is at the corner of 95th and Manitoba.
