Suspects in Custody After Fatal Accident on North 17th Street

A fatal accident occurred Saturday evening in the area of N. 17^th  and W. Vliet at approximately 6:45 PM. 

Two vehicles were involved in this accident at this intersection, according to Milwaukee Police. 

A 61-year-old woman was crossing the street when she was struck by one of the vehicles. She passed away at the scene. 

According to Milwaukee Police, two subjects are currently in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
