Suspects arrested after good Samaritans step in during gas station robbery in West Bend

On Friday, June 9th, 2017, at 5:00 PM, an area gas station notified police that a subject forcefully removed money out of their register and fled the store.

Several citizens attempted to detain the subject, however, he was able to flee the area.

A resident in the neighborhood observed the suspect get into a waiting vehicle, contacted 911, and followed the vehicle out of the City.

The vehicle was stopped by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department on HWY 60 near US Highway 45.

The three occupants were taken into custody.

The three subjects, a 53-year-old male Allenton resident, a 22-year-old male Allenton resident, and a 28-year-old male West Bend resident were placed at the Washington County Jail on charges of Strong Armed Robbery.

All of the money taken during the robbery was recovered.
