WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A suspect wanted for an attempted homicide that occurred in Kenosha is in custody after a police chase in Wauwatosa Thursday, Feb. 12.
Wauwatosa police officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the car did not stop and a pursuit was initiated.
The pursuit ended after officers used a spike strip to stop the car. The driver and a passenger got out and ran away but officers were able to catch them.
Both were taken into custody.
Officers identified the wanted suspect as 37-year-old Jeremy Williams and he is being charged with attempted first-degree homicide, recklessly endangering safety and felon in possession of a firearm.
Addition charges may be added outside Kenosha related to the police chase.
No injuries and crashes were reported.
