Suspect wanted after man shot in West Allis near 72nd and Washington

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) --- West Allis police are investigating a shooting that happened at a business near 72nd and Washington on Saturday, May 1.

Police say a 47-year-old West Milwaukee man suffered two gunshot wounds around 3:07 a.m. The victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. He is in stable condition.

Police say the suspect fled the scene in a black Lincoln Sports Utility vehicle. Police describe him as a Hispanic male, 6’00” – 6’02”, 200-210lbs, black hair, black beard, wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes, a gold chain and watch.

Officials say this is an isolated incident and there is no ongoing danger to the general public.
