Suspect taken into custody from May fatal shooting in Racine

Harry Thomas Canady, Jr. was killed on the 600 block of N. Memorial Drive on May 7. Racine Police searched for a suspect and now, over two months later, they have taken someone into custody.

Racine Police revealed on Tuesday evening that Dominique I. Knight was developed as a suspect in this homicide investigation. Knight has been taken into custody and formal charges are pending. 

Canaday, a 20-year-old resident of Racine, was shot just after 5 p.m. and died at the hospital from his injuries.
