Suspect steals wallet, cellphone from gym member in Brookfield

Brookfield, Wis. (CBS 58) -- According to the City of Brookfield Police Department, a member of Xperience Fitness had his gym locker broken into and his cellphone and wallet stolen.

The incident happened at Xperience Fitness located on Capitol Drive in Brookfield around 12:30 p.m. on June 29 -- one day before Xperience Fitness announced their doors would close for good and memberships would switch to Planet Fitness. 

Police say a patron's secured gym locker was forcibly broken into and his cellphone and wallet containing multiple credit/debit cards were taken by unknown suspect(s).

At around 1 p.m., the victim reported multiple fraudulent transactions occurring on stolen debit and credit cards. The fraudulent transactions occurred at a Target in Wauwatosa and from a BP Gas Station in Brookfield.
