Suspect steals Brown Deer man's car after taking it for test drive

The Brown Deer Police Department responded to an address near 60th St and W. Brown Deer Road after a 49-year-old man reported that his vehicle, a black Ford Edge, was stolen from the driveway of his residence.

According to police, an unknown man had called the resident and wanted to buy his vehicle.

The 49-year-old man advised that after test driving the vehicle, they pulled back into his driveway and got out to talk about the price.

The other man then walked back to the vehicle, got in, and left without paying.

A report was filed. 

Brown Deer Police continue to investigate.
