Sunday afternoon fire damages duplex on Milwaukee’s north side

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- The Red Cross has been called to assist the residents of a duplex on Milwaukee’s north side following a fire Sunday afternoon.    The Milwaukee Fire Department was called to a fire in a three-story brick duplex at W Garfield and N 28^th Street around 1:30 PM.   The fire was confined to a small area in the wall and ceiling of one side of the duplex.   No one was injured as a result of the fire.   As of yet there is no estimate of the dollar amount of damage and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
