Summit: 19-year-old woman killed in car vs semi crash, 2 others injured

SUMMIT, Wis. (CBS 58) --- A 19-year-old woman died after a two vehicle crash involving a car and semi on I-94 in the Village of Summit on Saturday, Nov. 14.

Police say it happened just before midnight near CTH BB.

The initial investigation revealed the passenger vehicle was traveling westbound on I-94 when the driver, a 19-year-old man, lost control and struck the back of a legally parked semi on the shoulder.

The 19-year-old woman was pronounced dead on scene.

The driver and another 19-year-old man were both treated for injuries and released from a hospital.

The semi driver was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office and Wisconsin State Patrol.

The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, Village of Summit Police Department, Village of Oconomowoc Lake Police Department, and Western Lakes Fire Department responded to the crash.
