Students in Racine County took advantage of this beautiful spring day to help others.
They donated their time to the Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin.
Students from the Racine Unified School District helped build a tiny home! The home was donated. Its one of 15 that students are building to help homeless vets.
"When you see young adults like this get hands-on to make a difference in their hometown, that's touching and you can't ask for anything more."
The community service was on behalf of "Academies of Racine." The group gives high school students opportunities to explore careers while getting hands-on experience.
