Student's Help Decorate for the Milwaukee's Holiday Lights Festival

One of the three downtown parks featured in Milwaukee's Holiday Lights Festival is getting a festive makeover thanks to hundreds of students.

The holiday season has transformed the Cathedral Square Park to the “Community Spirit Park” from now till New Year’s.

Friday morning more than 20 schools and about 700 students came together this morning to help light up downtown. The students made handmade ornaments and decorated the trees according to a theme.

"We all spend hard work and time on making it and we put a lot of effort into doing it so i just hope everybody else likes it I know I like it," says a student.
