5 teens charged after fire at former industrial building in Kenosha
Students at Greenfield High School once again took to the hallways in protest. They're upset about the resignation of the school's head football coach.
I feel like he was unjustly fired, looks out for everybody on the campus," said Senior David Smith.
School administrators tell us Shane Covington resigned, but students believe that resignation was forced.
Practice for the Greenfield High School football team has been canceled until further notice.
More than 600 students have signed a petition to bring back Covington, with members of the football team leading the effort.
Students plan to present their petition to the school board. If Covington still isn't reinstated, they plan to get a lawyer.
