KENOSHA (CBS 58) -- A student is recovering after being hit by a car in Kenosha.
It happened a few weeks ago near Frank Elementary School.
School officials say it happened when children were being let out of school a few weeks ago.
Few other details are being released at this time.
The Kenosha Unified School District released a statement about this situation saying, "Student safety is always a top priority and the school is working with staff, students, families, and local law enforcement to provide heightened awareness and coverage during release times."
