Strong to Severe Storms Saturday...Not with Tropical Depression Bill Around

Take a look at the risk area above!  Most of the state of Wisconsin is under a slight risk for strong to severe storms Saturday late afternoon into the evening.

Now we have seen this risk area before over the last several weeks.  Eventually the best ingredients setup to our south and we get pulled from the risk.  I do expect this risk area to become smaller as we go into Friday and possibly be reduced completely.  The question I have is how will Tropical Depression Bill influence everything?  Bill will be moving into southern Indiana by Saturday afternoon, and that could actually pull in an easterly flow off Lake Michigan for us.

That flow off the lake could reduce the overall coverage of storms and also take us out of any severe weather chances.  The flow around Bill will still be strong enough to manipulate our weather in southern Wisconsin.  We will continue to update the forecast, but right now the overall chances for storms and severe weather Saturday night could be very limited.  Stay tuned!
