Stradivarius violin robbery suspects appear in court

MILWAUKEE -- 41-year-old Salah Salahadyn and 36-year-old Universal Allah have both been charged with robbery for their roles in the stealing of the valuable Stradivarius Lipinski violin. The men made their first court appearances four days after being arrested by police.

A judge set Salahadyn's cash bail at $10,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on February 17th for his preliminary hearing.

Allah's bail was set at $500, because he has no previous criminal record. He waived his preliminary hearing, and will report for his arraignment on March 26th. Allah has been ordered to have no contact with Concertmaster Frank Almond and Salahadyn.
