Storms for Wednesday Night

All eyes will descend upon downtown Milwaukee tomorrow for the world's largest music festival!  The question is will concert goers stay dry for the first official day of fun?

A warm front will sit to our south across central Illinois by Wednesday afternoon.  Just to the south of the boundary the atmosphere will become very unstable with another chance for tornadic storms.

To the north of the front we are expecting elevated showers and storms capable of some gusty winds, locally heavy rainfall, and plenty of lightning.  Those storms will head in our direction toward the early evening.  It appears that most of the showers and storms should hold off until after 10 pm.

If you are heading to summerfest for tomorrow night, it would be a good idea to have some rain gear just in case.  Once this batch clears us by Thursday, temperatures will come down significantly for the weekend!
