Milwaukee (CBS 58)--Not a bad way to kickoff summer. Two fairly nice days back to back. But it looks like our luck will be changing a bit. A warm front lifting north across the area will help trigger showers and storms both Sunday and Monday. There will be many dry times. But keep in mind you may have to dodge the thunderstorms, especially Sunday afternoon and throughout the day on Monday. There' s a marginal risk of severe weather each day with heavy rain, frequent lightning, and gusty winds the main concerns.
Once the warm front lifts north, we get into some warmer air, especially by the middle and end of the week. We're talking about a string of 80s on the way. Just in time for Summerfest which starts on Wednesday. So get those new shorts out for the season.
