Stolen Vehicle Crashes into Another Car Killing Bystanders

Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened on Wednesday around 9:30 AM in the intersection of North Sherman Boulevard and West Roosevelt Drive.

Milwaukee Police attempted a traffic stop of stolen silver Kia Sportage but the driver refused to stop and fled.  In the intersection, the Kia struck a tan four- door Chevy Malibu. 

The driver and passenger of the Chevy Malibu, a 57-year old man and a 58-year old man, were pronounced dead on the scene.  The driver and passenger of the Kia Sportage, 21 and 22 year old women from Milwaukee, were arrested on scene. 

They were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.  The investigation is ongoing and the case will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.    

The ME said reports are it is two male victims.
