Still Plenty of Time to Stake Your Ground & Enjoy Camping

With another month of summer to enjoy, there's still plenty of time to plan the perfect camping trip.  I spent some time early Wednesday with camping expert Nate Scherper at Whitnall Park in Milwaukee County.  

We hit a couple of high points, including some new hi-tech gadgets you can use to make your experience that much better, such as a backpacking stove.  We then focused our attention on safety advice.  Everything from carrying a compass and knife to a water filter in case you need to drink out of a river or other body of water.
