You have a chance to live like the sailors did during World War Two. You can actually spend Saturday night onboard the USS COBIA at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum in Manitowoc. This submarine was actually manufactured in this city during the war years among 27 other subs. Group tours take place just about every day of the year. But the experience this coming weekend is mainly for individuals or families wanting to learn what naval officers went through out at sea.
The overnight stay will cost you 44 dollars. You have to be at least six years old to participate, and you have free access to the museum in the morning. There’s still limited availability. Just click here for all the information you need to know about registering to stay on COBIA.
