State senate pass bill legalizing medical cannabis oil

MADISON -- The Wisconsin State Senate passed a bill that will give children suffering from seizures another treatment option. The parents of some of these children traveled to the Capitol Building in Madison to watch the senators pass the bill legalizing cannabis oil.

Effected families say stories of improved quality of life from families in Colorado have them thinking their children should have that too. Parent Jennifer Bertram said, \"I want to thank all the legislators, all the work they have done to hear the people and parents in Wisconsin that they want this option! We look forward to hearing from Governor Walker and how to work with him in next steps.\"

The bill now heads to Governor Walker's desk for signing.
