Stained glass artwork installed at Marquette University
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The finishing touches are being put on Marquette University's Jesuit Residence.
Crewers were installing a 64-square foot stained glass window on Monday.
The building is less than three years old an houses the University's Jesuit Priests and some students.
The stained glass will serve as the focal point for the building's main chapel.
"It will change everything about the chapel, so we are waiting for this to see all the different colors and how the colors would be reflected into the chapel from the sun outside," said Fr. David Schultenover with Marquette University.
The stained glass depicts a vision Saint Ignatius of Loyola had of God inspiring him to learn more about the Holy Trinity.
St. Ignatius. was the founder of the Society of Jesus.
