State leaders advocate for adoption of $20 minimum wage in Wisconsin
WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Milwaukee will hold its "Giving from the Heart" gala to raise funds for the organization and its efforts.
Scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 28, the event will take place at The Gage in West Allis.
Debbie Duskey, Executive Director, Penny Krafczyk, President of the Board of Directors and Becca Surges, Director of Philanthropy and Marketing all joined us on Thursday, Sept. 21 to preview the event.
Doors will open at 6 p.m., featuring a silent auction, live music, cocktails and networking opportunities. A gourmet meal catered by Zilli Hospitality Group will be served at 7 p.m., followed by a program at 7:30 p.m. where society friends will share stories.
The event will conclude with closing remarks at 8:30 p.m.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul aims to eliminate poverty and hunger through person-to-person involvement in a spirit of justice and charity. More information can be found by clicking here.
