St. Francis woman arrested, allegedly punched boyfriend in face with keys in hand

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 41-year-old St. Francis woman was arrested after allegedly punching her boyfriend in the face several times with keys in her hand.

Police were originally called to an apartment shortly before 9 p.m. on Saturday in the 3400 block of E. Tesch Avenue for a report of a man and a woman physically fighting.

Upon arrival, officers learned that the 41-year-old woman punched her boyfriend and bit him because she was upset over relationship issues.

The woman also resisted officer's attempts to take her into custody.

The woman was eventually taken to the Milwaukee County Jail.

Charges are pending.
