MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Soda pop fans with a taste for cherries are in for a treat, thanks to the folks at Sprecher Brewing Co.
In a blend of traditional craft and local produce, Sprecher has launched a limited-edition Door County Cherry Soda. Made with "Grade A" Montmorency cherries sourced from Cherry De-Lite, one of Door County’s leading cherry growers, this soda aims to offer an authentic taste of Wisconsin's cherry region.
The launch was celebrated on Friday, June 2 when CBS 58's morning team gave the limited brew a live taste-test.
The cherry soda is available starting at select retailers in the area, including Metro Market, Pick ‘N Save, Mariano's, Metcalfe’s Market, Sendik’s, Festival Foods, Piggly Wiggly, Trigs, Woodman’s Markets and additional Sprecher retailers across Wisconsin.
