Up and down temps for the weekend
All of southeast Wisconsin finally got some much needed rain Saturday night and today. Most of the region picked up a solid half inch of rain between last night and this afternoon's storms.
Several areas even picked up .65-.90" of rain! Areas along and south of I-94 picked up most of their rain Saturday night while northern locations saw multiple downpours during the afternoon as the cold front moved through.
Low pressure is sitting right on top of use and will slowly push eastward over the next 24 hours. This will cause spotty, light showers to rotate through southern Wisconsin from time to time through Monday evening.
Showers will become isolated tonight into Monday morning, but daytime heating and better forcing will cause showers to become more numerous Monday afternoon.
Showers end around sunset Monday. It'll also be fairly breezy on Monday with frequent gusts around 25 mph. You'll still notice the wind on Tuesday, but it'll calm down on Wednesday.
Dry weather returns Tuesday and Wednesday, but the weather pattern will turn a bit more active for the second half of next week with nearly daily rain chances Thursday through the weekend.
