WisDOT updates CBS 58 on freeway projects across SE Wisconsin
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A local physical therapist joined us on Wednesday, June 11 to discuss injury trends tied to the growing popularity of pickleball.
Dr. Joe Fleming, a specialist with the Froedtert and Medical College of Wisconsin health network, talked about concerns linked to the increase in injuries among recreational pickleball players. Fleming, who practices at the Froedtert & MCW Sports Medicine Center in Milwaukee, addressed topics including common injury types, injury risk mitigation and prevention strategies.
He also outlined upcoming injury prevention classes offered through Froedtert and MCW.
