SPANX opens store at Mitchell International Airport

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- SPANX has opened its first free-standing store in Wisconsin. It is located in the main terminal at Mitchell International Airport.

Since the store is before you walk through security, it is open to the general public. 

The SPANX store sells shape-wear for woman.

Nikki Harland is part of the group who helped bring SPANX to Milwaukee. She hopes people in the Milwaukee community take advantage of this store's location.

"You can come in and shop as a citizen in the area," Harland, President of the Retail Paradies Lagardère, said. "Obviously our travelers are the most important population for us but our location citizens are important too. The location is perfect."

The addition of SPANX is part of an effort to bring new stores and restaurants to the airport.
