MILWAUKEE - The Southeastern OWI Task Force is stepping up patrols.
150 extra squads will be on the streets over the next 10 days.
They say it's because of St. Patrick's Day activities starting this weekend and the NCAA Tournament at the Bradley Center starting Thursday. Police want to make sure people are celebrating responsibly.
"If you have them out all this weekend, you think twice about over drinking or drinking too much during St. Patrick's Day and the tournaments." Said Lieutenant Gary Gabrish with the Wauwatosa Police Department.
Police say if you plan to drink, have a designated driver or another plan to get home safe.
The OWI Task Force starts tonight and runs through next Sunday, March 19th.
