Snow chances return for Monday

Take a look at the graphic above!  After achieving a few snow milestones early, Milwaukee has been very quiet this December.  Today is when Milwaukee should have already picked up 3" of snow from a storm.  Clearly that hasn't happened with only 0.4" since October!

While our next system isn't expected to drop a lot of snow, there is a decent chance for light snow late Sunday night into the Monday morning commute.  The timing looks to be from 4 am Monday until 10 am.  Most areas will pick up less than an inch of snow.  Fond du Lac and Sheboygan counties will have the best chance for close to an inch of snow.

By the afternoon the system could produce some drizzle with highs approaching 40 degrees.

A stronger system is advertised for Christmas Eve along with the coldest air of the season.  The chances for a white Christmas remain with snow potential for this Thursday.  Stay tuned!
