MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Soon, the Milwaukee REP will put on the production, "Prelude to a Kiss: A Musical," and on Tuesday, Aug. 27, CBS 58 received a sneak peek.
True love is tested in this romantic comedy.
"Prelude to a Kiss: A Musical" is based on the Tony Award-winning play by Craig Lucas, but all the songs are original.
CBS 58 spoke with the lyricist's who've been working on writing the songs for the last five years or so.
"We really strove to make it as beautiful and dramatic as possible. We want it to be inviting for people, we want them leaving singing and feeling all the things that we feel," said Daniel Messé, composer.
You can see "Prelude to a Kiss: A Musical" starting Sept. 10 at the Harris Theater, located inside the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts.
