Snap-on announces multi-phase move-in at new Pleasant Prairie facility

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Snap-on Logistics Corporation announced a new storage facility planned for Pleasant Prairie. The facility will warehouse Snap-on tools and trade show marketing materials.

According to a news release, Snap-on Logistics Corporation purchased the former MG Design building, from TI Investors of Lakeview II LLC, in LakeView Corporate Park. The Plan Commission, on Monday night, Dec. 14, unanimously approved the Site and Operational Plans that were requested by Jacob Gunia, with Snap-on Logistics.

The company will occupy the existing 121,052 square foot industrial building, located at 8778 100th Street, previously occupied by MG Design between 1999 and 2019.

The news release says Snap-on will move into the space in a multi-phased process. The first phase will occur in December 2020, and the second phase will begin in February 2021.

Snap-on says they plan to employ ten full-time employees at the new facility.

"The Village is excited Snap-on has selected Pleasant Prairie for their new warehouse operations," said Jean Werbie-Harris, Community Development Director. "We are glad to have them in our business community and look forward to seeing Snap-on expand and grow into their new location.”
