MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--This is the week for the "S" word. First, it's the smoke. Poor air quality will linger for a good part of Tuesday. The Air Quality alert will hold until noon on Tuesday. Then the focus starts to shift to storms, especially through Wednesday morning. Some of the rain could be heavy, some of the storms strong. Hopefully we get an inch out of the deal for some. A heat dome follows for the end of the week, including Thursday and Friday when we could see highs approach 95 degrees in spots. The heat indices could near 100 degrees as well. Storms will fire once again Friday night and linger through much of Saturday morning before we start to clear out and cool off once again into early next week.
