One person has died and a second person has been taken to Froedtert Hospital for injuries suffered in a single vehicle accident on Kenosha County Road H in the Town of Somers early Wednesday morning. According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office, one of the occupants of the car was transported to a local hospital where that person died. The second occupant of the car was transported by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital with serious injuries. The ages and genders of the vehicle occupants are not available at this time. The preliminary investigation of the accident finds that just after midnight Wednesday, the vehicle was north bound on HWY H when it left the road and crashed near Shoreland Lutheran High School, just north of the intersection with HWY E. Crash scene investigators are still attempting to determine a cause of the accident. A full report of the accident is expected to be available later this morning.
