Silver Alert Issued for Milwaukee Woman

A Silver Alert has been issued for a 69-year-old Milwaukee woman who has been missing since Thursday afternoon. 

The Milwaukee Police Department has issued the Silver Alert for Ruthie Edwards. 

Edwards was last seen around  4 PM on September 22 in the area of N Cambridge Avenue and E North Avenue in Milwaukee. 

She is described as a black women, 5-feet 5-inches tall and weighing 115 pounds, with brown eyes and gray/black hair.  She was last seen wearing a black short sleeve shirt with black and blue flowered pattern and black pants. 

Edwards apparently left her residence on foot.  She is believed to have dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
