Shots Fired Outside House Office Building on Capitol Hill

WASHINGTON (CBS NEWS) - Police opened fire on a suspect who crashed into a police cruiser outside a House office building on Capitol Hill Wednesday morning, police said.
The suspect is now in custody.
Capitol Police said a driver struck a police cruiser near 1st and Independence Avenue and tried to run over officers, CBS radio affiliate WTOP reports.
