Shorewood man accused of hitting ex-wife's boyfriend over the head with bottle, biting him during fight

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 42-year-old man is arrested in Brown Deer after police say he got into a fight with his ex-wife's boyfriend. 

According to the Brown Deer Police Department, a woman called police just before 10:15 Saturday night to report a fight involving her ex-husband. When officers arrived, they found a 42-year-old Shorewood man running from the apartment. The man told police he went to his ex's apartment for food and was attacked by her boyfriend, a 54-year-old man. 

Police later learned the 54-year-old was hit over the head with a bottle and bitten by the 42-year-old after the 42-year-old came into the apartment uninvited and started the fight with the 54-year-old. 

The 42-year-old was arrested for domestic violence-disorderly conduct, domestic violence-criminal trespass to dwelling, and battery. Investigators say he was taken to the police station, booked, and released after posting bail. 

The case has been sent to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office for review.
