Sheriff's office seeks help in identifying bus assault suspects

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying three suspects in a bus assault. The suspects allegedly assaulted a man and woman riding a Milwaukee County Transit Bus from Summerfest to the Park and Ride lot on June 30 around 12:15 a.m.

The sheriff's office says the victims boarded the MCTS shuttle at Summerfest headed to the College Ave. Park and Ride lot. When the victims began to exit the bus at the park and ride, a woman began pulling the hair of the female victim. The male victim attempted to stop the woman pulling his girlfriend's hair. The woman began punching the female victim in the face. The male victim was punched in the face by the woman's boyfriend.

The victims called 911 after the incident. The female victim received stitches above her eye.

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke says, \"It is not unreasonable for people to want to use public transportation without being battered.\"

Suspect #1 is described as a white female, with almost shoulder-length red/orange hair and purple highlights. She also has a tattoo on her right shoulder blade of either two hearts or two stars.

Suspect #2 is a white female with long straight brown hair, blue/green sleeveless top.

Suspect #3 is described as a tall white male with dark hair, scruffy facial hair and possible acne scarring. He was wearing a red t-shirt.

Anyone with information about these suspects should call 414-278-4788.
