Sheriff Clarke Plans to Write a Book

Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. has signed a book agreement with Worthy Publishing Group, a division of Worthy Inc., a Delaware company located in Franklin, Tennessee.

According to a release from Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, the book will be titled Rebel Sheriff: Beyond the hashtags of race, crime and politics.

"It will chronicle Sheriff Clarke's nearly four decades in law enforcement, including his 24 years with the Milwaukee Police Department, that culminated as Milwaukee County's top cop. The story will detail how aspects of his upbringing like faith, education and family influence shaped his views on race, crime and politics," said Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office in a release.
