Sheboygan resident wins $1 million Megabucks prize

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Sheboygan resident claimed a $1 million Megabucks prize Thursday in Madison.

Mary Polster hit the jackpot in the Feb. 9 drawing.

Polster matched all six numbers drawn (9, 21, 26, 31, 35, and 47) on a ticket purchased at the Kwik Trip on 7002 Sauk Trail Rd. in Sheboygan. The store will receive a $20,000 incentive based on two percent of the prize amount.

Thursday’s claim marked the Lottery’s second $1 million prize payout in the past week. On Feb. 23, a $1 million Powerball prize was claimed.

The odds of matching all six Megabucks numbers to win the jackpot are 1 in 6,991,908.
