Sheboygan player holds $100,000 Powerball ticket

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One lucky Wisconsin player is holding a $100,000 winning Powerball ticket from the Wednesday, August 21 Powerball drawing.

The winner matched four out of five numbers plus the Powerball. But, because they also purchased the Power Play prize multiplier feature, the $50,000 prize was automatically multiplied by two. Power Play turned the $50,000 ticket into a $100,000 winner. Wednesday's winning Powerball numbers were 01, 07, 45, 47 and 69 with a Powerball of 13. The Power Play number was 2.

The lucky winner purchased their ticket at Minit Mart at 1006 Geele Avenue in Sheboygan. Winners at all prize levels have 180 days from the drawing to claim their prizes.

Wisconsin retailers who sell winning tickets over $500 receive an incentive of 2 percent of the winning ticket amount up to $100,000.

The next Powerball drawing will be Saturday, August 25. The estimated jackpot is $70 million ($42.2 million cash).
